Greetings. I'm Lexi Purich Howard and I graduated from McGeorge's evening program in 2015. McGeorge was a great program and I had a wonderful experience there.
I chose McGeorge because it was one of eight schools that I was accepted to. And a friend that I knew who was a lobbyist in Sacramento, offered me a job and said, if you go to McGeorge, I'll hire you. And I needed a job, so that worked out fantastically.
I had a great experience there. My favorite part of McGeorge was truly the community. They're both faculty, staff and my student colleagues. We're all in it together. There was no cutthroat. Things were competitive, you wanted to do well, but there was never a sense that anyone would put their ethics or their own success above caring for others.
And it was just a wonderful experience and those were relationships that have served me well today. I am still in touch with many of my student colleagues from the time we work together, we refer business to one another. And it's wonderful to have that trust relationship, where we know that our clients will be well served in the hands of those people who we first met in law school, truly the beginning of lifetime relationships both with students and with faculty and staff, many of whom faculty wise and staff wise I still consider my friends.
So some of my favorite places on the McGeorge campus were the Adirondack chairs on the lawn, and the McGeorge rugby room sort of a secret cool place upstairs in the library. I had a great experience at McGeorge I received my capital loitering certificate there and the relationships that you build both in the capital and in the community around is invaluable. McGeorge is a fantastic place. I chose McGeorge, you should too.
