Hi, my name is Sarah Steimer and I'm a recent graduate from McGeorge. I graduated in May, 2019. And one of the things that made me choose McGeorge was because they have a community of students who are non-traditional students.
So I was a non-traditional student. I worked in the medical field, I taught and I went to grad school, all before deciding to go to law school. And so it was important to me to find a law school and to find a community that understood what it meant to be a non-traditional student, and to be able to help and support people who were going from a career back into school and then have that also be the transition into law school.
And so McGeorge really, the McGeorge community really does, you know, provide that support for non-traditional students who are coming in whether they're coming in through the daytime program, like I did or with a part-time program that has a number of students who are still working full-time while they're doing their degree. And so that's one of the reasons why I chose McGeorge.
