Hey, what's up guys, my name is Amir Joe Kallas and I am a 2L at McGeorge. I'm here to tell you a little bit more about why I chose McGeorge. Hopefully it'll give you some insight, and give you a little taste about what it's like being at McGeorge.

One of the reasons that I chose to go to McGeorge is because I fell in love with our campus. And the minute I stepped foot onto campus, there was this overwhelming feeling of community, between the students, between the faculty, between the admin. You feel like you're entering into one big family and you feel like you're about to learn law in a very intimate setting. Everybody knows everybody, it just a really cool place to be.

Another reason that I chose it though, is because I'm a lifelong Sacramenton, I was born and raised here. And so, I of course wanted to be close to my home because I love my home so much. I love the city of Sacramento and I love the surrounding area. One of my favorite parts about Sacramento are our amazing coffee shops. Have some great, independent roasters and of course, that makes great places to study.

And speaking of great places to study that brings me to my favorite place on campus, which is our library. It's super important, especially in law school to have a good library and to have a good juju, a good place where you can find your juju. And the library is that place for me. I absolutely love our library. It's a good mix of old and new and we have great study enclaves, it's amazing. And so I hope that you choose McGeorge just the way I chose McGeorge and it could help you to pursue your passion
